How to Join the Code Forum Staff Team
The Code Forum Administration Team will post an announcement in the Announcements board whenever staff positions become available. If you're interested in joining the team, please read the announcement carefully and follow the instructions to submit your application.
Be sure to give the administration team adequate time to review your submission.

Guardian Team
Focus: Forum moderation and enforcement of community guidelines. Ensures a safe and respectful environment for all members. -
User Onboarding Team
Focus: Welcoming and assisting new members as they join Code Forum, helping them get started and navigate the community. -
Social Media Poster
Focus: Promoting Code Forum across social platforms and sharing community updates, highlights, and engagement posts. -
Graphic Designer
Focus: Designing visuals for Code Forum including banners, promotional materials, and fulfilling design-related requests. -
Docs Writer
Focus: Writing and maintaining official help articles, documentation, and user guides to support community knowledge.
Step 1: Read the Announcement
- Visit the Announcements section when a staff position becomes available.
- Carefully read the announcement for details about the role, responsibilities, and expectations.
Step 2: Prepare Your Application
- Review the team’s responsibilities and requirements outlined in the announcement.
- Prepare a detailed message that includes:
- The team you're applying for
- Why you're interested in the position
- Any relevant experience or contributions
- How you plan to support the community in this role
Step 3: Send a Private Message
- Visit Malcolm's profile.
- Click the "Start conversation" button.
- Use a clear subject line (e.g., "Staff Application – [Team Name]") and paste your prepared message.
- Submit the conversation and wait for a reply.
Step 4: Review Process
- Malcolm or a team lead may follow up with additional questions via private message.
- If you're not selected, don’t be discouraged — continue engaging positively in the community, and future opportunities may arise.
