Code of Conduct

Any information within this post is subject to change at any time.

Welcome to Code Forum! We are truly honored to have you join our community. Before diving in, please take a few moments to read our Code of Conduct to ensure a safe, respectful, and helpful environment for everyone.

Help Out the Community

  • Greet new members in the Introductions forum to help foster a welcoming space.
  • You may reply to older posts if they are still relevant.
  • If your question is answered, please mark the reply as the thread "solution" to help others.
  • Note: The Guardians Team will determine whether a warning is necessary in each case.
  • Share our community with others!

Inappropriate Content

  • Posts must add value. Share helpful, well-explained, and informative content.

  • This applies to titles, resources, and media as well.

  • Please use proper grammar to be clearly understood. We welcome all language backgrounds!

  • Do not post or reuse others’ content without permission.

  • No illegal/null/hacking scripts — zero tolerance, permanent ban.

  • Discussions about hacking into systems or unauthorized data access are strictly prohibited.

  • No inappropriate or NSFW images.

  • Before posting questions, review the threads:

    • Before Asking Your Question
    • Q&A System Changes
    • How to Ask a Good Question
  • Child pornography will result in immediate permanent ban and notification to authorities.

  • Use BBCode for posting code — it helps others read and understand it better.

  • Avoid “walls of text.” Use formatting:
bullet points, headings, photos, code blocks, etc.

  • Avoid screenshots of code. Use text/code formatting so others can assist properly.

  • Do not ask others to code entire programs for you. Request guidance or collaborators.

  • Don’t edit original posts with vague updates like “Solved.” Post a follow-up with the solution.

  • Never post sensitive personal or client data.
Use tools like Mockaroo for realistic sample data.

  • Do not post minified code — format it clearly for readability.

Inappropriate Behavior / Language

  • Be respectful, even in disagreement. Provide reasons and remain civil.
  • Stay on topic in threads. Off-topic replies aren’t punished but discouraged.
  • Use common sense — no spamming, name-calling, or disrespecting staff.
  • Avoid sarcastic or dismissive comments like:
“Google it.” or “That’s a dumb question.”
  • When answering, include explanations, facts, and examples.
  • Remember: many users are beginners — be patient and helpful.
  • Avoid using 'bump' within the first 24 hours of posting.
  • If you post again with additional information, that’s not a bump.
  • Multiple accounts used to evade bans will result in a ban on all accounts (unless exempted).
  • Wait patiently for replies. Repetitive PMs or thread bumps may result in a warning.
  • Staff and members are not required to have all answers.

Inappropriate Advertising / Spam

  • Do not promote other communities (forums, Discords, etc.) on Code Forum.
  • No advertising products or services unless approved by admin.
  • You may reference helpful guides or tools with context.
  • Sharing links is okay if you're seeking help on your own project.
